World Down's Syndrome Day Thursday 21st March 2013

Posted on February 3, 2013 at 6:40 AM Comments comments (0)

World Down's Syndrome Day is being celebrated by a global "Lots of Socks" event and we thought as a group it would be nice to get involved with this.  We thought it would be nice to get our children's schools/nursery or even parents workplaces involved as well.  Julie is writing a template letter for schools with ideas on how they may wish to celebrate this day e.g. £1 to wear lots of socks or brightly coloured clothing with half the money raised going to the schools that participate and half to the group.

Justin & Friends

We are organising a trip to see Justin & Friends at the Metro Radio Arena, Newcastle on 31st March 2013 at 1.30pm.  If you are interested in going we are paying for one adult and child, if you would like extra tickets it will be £22.50 each.  We are not organising transport for this event as we are trying to keep costs down, (I'm sure there will be extra spaces in peoples cars if they need a lift).  If you are interested in going contact Wendy 07966659238 or Julie 07585607737 and let us know how many tickets you would like.
